Increasing "access to abortion", one of the pro-abortion lobby's main goals, focuses on teens, the fastest-growing group in terms of rates of abortions today. The record speaks for itself:

your child getting an abortion without your knowledge, even if that
meant crossing state lines?:

Do Pro-life voters really believe that children should be allowed to get abortions without their parents' consent? Does any parent really believe this?

Obama and Abortion: Part 2

Barack Obama, by signing into law the Freedom of Choice Act, will increase abortion rates even higher than they are now and "insure that future generations always have access to abortions regardless of who the president is or who the Supreme Court Justices are". Please read below reason number 3 of why Pro-life advocates should not vote for Obama:

3. Obama has pledged to sign into law the "Freedom of Choice Act" as
soon as he is elected. Among other things, this Law will (from the
NARAL Pro-Choice website):

" By enacting FOCA, we will establish a federal law guaranteeing
reproductive freedom
for future generations of American women. This guarantee will protect
women's rights
even if President Bush and an anti‐choice Congress are successful in
reversing Roe v.
Wade or enacting even more restrictions on our right to choose."

"36 states have parental involvement laws, 26 states have informed
consent laws, and 34 states have funding restrictions."- my note:
these laws and restrictions will all be removed by the FOCA leading to
likely leading to at least tens of thousands more abortions by
increasing access to abortion. (see next post)

Do you want to insure increased access to abortion for future generations? Consider that as you vote.

We must continue to vote Pro-Life! To just "give up" as the Pro-Life Catholics for Obama in this article, is just unacceptable. What happened to fighting until the battle is won?

Do not be misled by the pro-abortion advocates soft-peddling their beliefs to appeal to mainlstream voters.

2. Abortion activists are becoming more subtle to entice more
conservative Christians and others. No longer is NARAL about abortion,
rather they are to be called only "Pro-Choice". Could we really be
misled by semantics? See quote from their website below:

"In 2003, NARAL Pro-Choice America became the legal name of the
organization formerly known as the National Abortion and Reproductive
Rights Action League. NARAL is no longer an acronym for the National
Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League."

Unfortunately, changing the name of this organization does nothing to save babies' lives.

Sarah Palin not only pledges to be pro-life advocate, she lives pro-life principles. She is an example for all of us!

Your Money Or A Life

This is an excerpt from an e-mail that I received from a Christian about why she supports Obama despite his pro-abortion stance:

the key issue facing our country today is the serious peril our economy is in. If Roe V. Wade were overturned tomorrow, the banks would still be failing

Here is my truly stunned response:

WOW! So it is true. Our pastor and guest speaker just preached on this today. They essentially said that many if not most Christians today in America value their money more than the sanctity of life. Specifically, they were reflecting on the sanctity of the 52 million lives of babies taken by abortion.

I was convicted in my own heart about my priorities as a proclaimed follower of Christ as my pastor spoke. I am humbled and saddened to read your opinion on this matter.

I will be praying for this country and may we all fling ourselves on the ground in repentance for our horribly misplaced values.

As our speakers stated today, either we will be voluntarily broken in repentance before the Almighty God or he will break us.

Have we as Christians sunk so low? Are our 401Ks what are most important? Can we not trust God for our provision or is that just as old-fashioned and silly as believing that the Bible says baby-killing is wrong?

Please pray for revival among American Christians! This problem is so much larger than just this election.

Why Pro-Choice Hurts Black America

Here is an excerpt from a letter that I sent to Obama supporters:

To all who would care to be concerned,

From the document "Abortion Surveillance— United States, 2004, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Section on
Reproductive Health"

The abortion ratio for black women (472 per 1,000 live births) was 2.9 times

That adds up to 13 million lives taken from our community over the past 30
years. Can we afford to have another 13 million of our babies killed by
abortion?

Abortion is the leading killer in our community. The next biggest
life-taker for African-Americans is heart disease which has taken a little
over 2 million lives over the past 30 years.

Genocide? You decide.

What matters most- economic crisis or mass-murder crisis? You decide.

Why Voting Pro-Life Is Still Important

How frustrated I have become of late with Christians, Protestant and Catholic alike, declaring that there is no use in fighting for the sanctity of life by voting pro-choice. "It's the economy, stupid!" is the kind of answer I receive when I state that one of my reasons for not voting for Obama even though I am black (oh horror, the shame of it), is because of his pro-abortion stance.

Here are only a few reasons why voting pro-life is still important:

1. Babies are still being killed each and every day. There is no sign of this trend reversing. In fact rates are skyrocketing among teens.
2. Obama has stated that his first act upon becoming President will be to sign into the law the inappropriately-named Freedom of Choice Act. This law will remove all current barriers in place for abortions increasing the numbers of abortions perhaps by tens of thousands. Other places in the world that have such legislation in place such as Sweden have very high rates of abortion. The stated reason the law is needed is to improve access to abortion for even more women.
3. Obama will be in the position to seat a pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice for life, thereby ensuring a much longer time for us to live under Roe vs. Wade.

Think about these reasons and talk to your friends and family. We must have pro-life representation in the White House!

Go Sarah! I am so proud of her for maintaining her pro-life principles in the face of what I am sure is extreme pressure.
